DANCEmandala Facilitator Training
Learn to facilitate the DANCEmandala while exploring and immersing in this practice for yourself. This course includes the study of the core foundation and methodology of DANCEmandala including body pathway maps of practice, somatic awareness movement practices, basic anatomy, trauma sensitivity awareness, moving meditation facilitation skills, space holder awareness, music selection strategies, writing and planning a session, and practicum.
This course provides many gateways for you to move toward wellness, presence and transformational leadership.
Restorative Yoga Teacher Training (CE 50-hour)
Experience the benefits and learn how to practice restorative yoga. Explore the key principles and methodology of this yoga style. Learn how to hold a mindful and well-facilitated space. Gain awareness and understanding of trauma sensitivity, and how to make adjustments to meet student’s needs. Create, plan, and practice teaching a restorative yoga class to others. This training blends seamlessly with the DANCEmandala Facilitator Training.

This 2 in 1 program is designed to give you the experience and the understanding required to be able to facilitate DANCEmandala and teach the Yoga of Rest. If you are interested in wellness, in developing somatic awareness and well-being through dance, intuitive movement, creativity, meditation, and deep rest. This program is for you.

This is intensive training offered in 2 parts, online and in-person. In the program, you will experience, learn, explore, and practice facilitating DANCEmandala and the Yoga of Rest (restorative yoga)
These two courses blend seamlessly as both practices lend support to each other. Once successfully completed the program, you will be ready and able to teach both the DANCEmandala and restorative yoga, each as a stand-alone class as well as offer it as part of a whole experience for your students.
This program connects you to the DANCEmandala global community. Receive 12 months of complimentary membership to the school’s portal to access online schedules, recordings, and live-stream practice.

Accommodation and all meals are included. Your accommodation is in a comfortable bed in a shared room. Our caterer offers healthy, clean Thai vegetarian food with vegan options.

This fee includes online tuition and all-inclusive residential training Oct 8th-23rd. Accommodation is in a shared room plus 3 meals/day.
Full payment is to be paid 6 weeks before the start of the training. Payment plans and local rates for residents of Chiang Mai are available.

Upon completing this program, you will be awarded a certification from the DANCEmandala School for Movement Meditation, be qualified to facilitate DANCEmandala, and be eligible to get insurance coverage from Westminster Insurance for Professional Indemnity and Public Liability. Meet the team
Jo completed her DANCEmandala Training in January 2023 and returning again this time to assist with the program and taking the opportunity to go deeper with the practice. Jo will be offering her support and mentorship for participants where needed.
Jo is a pediatric sleep consultant & maternity nurse. She specialises in healing newborns who had a hard start in life & helping the parents (usually the mother) cope with the big changes motherhood brings with all its beauty and challenges. With her recent experience of participating in the level 1 training, her great sensitivity, and her easy-going and caring nature, Jo is a great member of our team here to welcome and support you.

Guest Presenter - Living Anatomy
Johnny is one of the experienced facilitators. He has twice participated in level 2 training and taught anatomy workshops in previous training programs. Johnny has been a regular practitioner both as a dancer and facilitator of DANCEmandala for many years. He will bring his vast knowledge and expertise in anatomy and movement by teaching a workshop he calls Living Anatomy for dancers in the program.
“Dance remains my fundamental means of self-exploration and self-expression, I also enjoy travel, hiking, cross-country skiing, and working out at the gym. I regularly practice yoga and Tai Chi, am an enthusiastic golfer, ice skater, and hockey fan. I taught Clinical Anatomy in San Francisco from 2008-2015 and now teach Living Anatomy for dancers and other movers through the Yoga Tree Studio in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and love sharing an integrative and experiential approach to knowing the body!” ~ Johnny
Areeradh K Tri-siddha
Areeradh is a longtime experienced yoga teacher and transformational movement facilitator. She received her formal yoga teacher training at Triyoga UK in 2007. Since then, Areeradh has practiced and studied with many great teachers where she gained knowledge and experience in Hatha yoga, Iyengar yoga, Restorative style yoga, Qi-Gong, EFT tapping method, Biodanza, Feldenkrais method, somatic movement, Anapanasati breath awareness, Insight meditation, and Ayurveda. Areeradh blends these methods into her regular practice and daily life along with her ongoing research and studies of kirtan, creative voice, and art expression.
Self-awakening and wellness with yoga and She Rituals facilitation
Areeradh facilitates self-awakening, inner discovery through movement meditation, dance, creativity, intuitive rituals, and well-being experiences for her students. Her teachings are founded on the wisdom of yoga, Buddha’s Dhamma, Eastern philosophy, sacred femininity, and earth wisdom. Her methods incorporate somatic healing movement, stillness, mindfulness, creative expression, music, sacred space, mantra, breath, voice, and whole-person well-being. Her yoga style focuses on alignment, insight contemplation, deep relaxation, and re-awakening of the body-mind-spirit connection.
